MyFaceShape ("we", "our", or "the app") helps you discover your face shape and get personalized styling guidance. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the app and how we protect it.

1. Information we process

Face photos. When you take a selfie with the camera or choose a photo from your library, a compressed copy of that image is sent over HTTPS to our secure backend (a Cloudflare Worker) so a third-party AI service can analyze facial proportions, estimate your face shape, and generate ratings and styling tips. Photos are processed to deliver your analysis and are not stored long-term on our servers after the request completes.

Optional gender preference. If you select a gender preference during onboarding, it may be sent with analysis requests so styling recommendations can be tailored. This preference is stored locally on your device.

Anonymous device identifier. A random identifier stored on your device is sent with analysis requests to enforce the free-scan limit and rate limits. It is not your name, email, or store account ID.

Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). We use RevenueCat to verify MyFaceShape Pro entitlement status. We do not receive your payment card details.

Local data on your device. Scan history thumbnails and results, routine progress, theme preference, and onboarding answers are stored locally on your phone. This data does not leave your device unless you back up your phone through your platform backup.

Notifications. If you enable routine reminders, the system schedules local alerts on your device.

2. Analytics

iOS: The App Store listing indicates Google Firebase Analytics may be used for product analytics (not advertising). Event parameters may include screen names, feature names, face-shape labels, Pro status, and similar product metrics. Firebase is used without the advertising identifier (IDFA) for ads.

Android: The Android app uses a local analytics shim that logs product events to the device log in debug builds. We do not ship third-party advertising SDKs in the Android app.

3. What we do not collect

• No account registration or email is required to use the app
• We do not sell your personal information
• We do not maintain a long-term archive of your face photos on our servers
• We do not use your photos for biometric authentication or identity verification

4. How AI face analysis works

Your selected photo is sent over HTTPS to our Cloudflare Worker API, which forwards a processing request to a third-party AI provider to estimate face shape, confidence, measurements, ratings, and styling tips. After the analysis response is returned to the app, we do not keep your photo in long-term server storage.

AI results are estimates for entertainment and personal styling guidance. They are not medical, dermatological, or identity verification advice.

5. Camera and photo library

The app uses your camera and photo picker only when you choose to scan. You select a specific image; we do not scan your entire photo library in the background.

6. Subscriptions

MyFaceShape Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription. Apple or Google processes payment. We only receive entitlement status needed to unlock Pro features.

7. Children's privacy

MyFaceShape is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
